Refund Policy

Introduction

At ECT Linen & Chair Cover Rentals, we strive to provide high-quality rental services for your events. We understand that plans can change, and we have established this Refund Policy to outline the conditions under which refunds are issued. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Deposit Refunds

• Deposit Requirement: A deposit of $50 or 10% of the total rental cost is required to secure your rental order and date.
• Full Refund: If a cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event date, the full deposit will be refunded.
• Partial Refund: If a cancellation occurs within 7-14 days before the event date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
• No Refund: No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the event date.

2. Balance Refunds

• Full Payment: The full balance of the rental cost must be paid 14 days prior to the event.
• Full Refund: If a cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event date, the full balance will be refunded.
• Partial Refund: If a cancellation occurs within 7-14 days before the event date, 50% of the balance will be refunded.
• No Refund: No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the event date.

3. Late Returns

• Equipment must be returned on time as agreed upon in the rental contract. Late returns will incur a charge of $50 per hour for every hour the equipment is late. This fee is not refundable.

4. Damage and Cleaning Fees

• The client will be charged $100 for any equipment returned damaged or excessively dirty, plus the cost to clean, repair, or replace the item to its original rental condition. These fees are not refundable.
• The client will be charged the full cost for any item that is lost or not returned. These fees are not refundable.

5. Special Circumstances

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or emergencies, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review each situation on a case-by-case basis to determine if any refund or credit can be issued.
